We wanted to say thanks again for being one of the first to try out ccLoop. Unfortunately, we have decided to stop development on the ccLoop product. We have received a great deal of interest and positive feedback on the concept, however we saw a long and difficult path ahead to build ccLoop into a thriving business.
We will shut down the ccLoop service permanently by December 15, 2011. We recommend you migrate your loops from ccLoop to another solution. A couple that we can recommend are:
- http://www.fiesta.cc – Fiesta makes it very easily to quickly build mailing lists and manage them. Fiesta is a “list only” product in that it does not yet store a searchable archive of all of your messages.
- http://groups.google.com – Google Groups is a mature product that provides both a mailing list, a searchable archive, digests, public groups, and many other options.
We recommend you evaluate these alternatives then plan to move your loop. You can either build a new list from scratch, or you can migrate your existing data. If you would like to move your message archive, please reach out to us for help prior to starting the migration at help@ccloop-inc.com.
The ccLoop team is moving on to a new opportunity: http://www.pipewise.com. Please contact us at info@pipewise.com or sign up for our beta if you are interested.
Thanks for the support,

95% of U.S. online consumers use email for communication and business. It’s a great tool to interact and reach new, existing, and future clients. However, email is not without its annoyances. Despite these issues, email has never been replaced and will continue to grow in the coming years.
Still unconvinced? The infographic below might change your mind:

“This year’s AlwaysOn Global 250 are companies driven by the biggest mega-trends, including the accelerating growth of mobile users, cloud computing, and SaaS offerings, globalization, and the socialization of commerce, and basically everything online.“
–Tony Perkins, founder and editor of AlwaysOn
We’re excited to be named a winner of the 2011 AlwaysOn Global 250. This year’s list of Top 250 Private Companies were selected from among thousands of domestic and international technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists, and industry insiders after a rigorous three-month evaluation process.
The distinction places ccLoop among the top emerging companies in Silicon Valley that are “demonstrating significant market traction and pursuing game-changing technologies,” according to AlwaysOn. ccLoop was recognized in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Enterprise category along with other high-growth companies including Atlassian, Eventbrite, Marketo, and SugarCRM.
The 9th annual Silicon Valley Innovation Summit is a two-day gathering of top executives, entrepreneurs, and venture capital investors operating in the “Global Silicon Valley.” Our CEO and founder Michael Wolfe will be speaking at the CEO Showcase on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 11:00 am PST. We hope you catch our session!

“…startups that focus on tackling email overload and the underlying bottlenecks of it stand a great chance of success. Mailing lists aren’t new and there are a bunch of web apps that offer similar services. ccLoop acts as an effective collaboration and a hybrid communication channel for members in a loop.”
Thanks to the folks at Web.AppStorm for publishing a product review on ccLoop and praising us for tackling the email overload problem with a solution that “works out of the box, without the need for separate client or email address.”
The review takes readers through the private beta experience and the steps to get started to create, manage and search “loops” or smart mailing lists. It highlights how ccLoop is easy to use, an effective tool for collaboration, and a “wonderful app to help you put email to better use.”
So, what are you waiting for? Go to www.ccloop.com and create a free loop!

Staying in the loop on more topics doesn’t mean signing up for more email. With ccLoop, you get more of the messages you want and fewer of the ones you don’t. You can join and follow as many loops as you want without flooding your inbox with more messages. But how?
Each loop has the following settings that you can find in its menu:
- Forward all email. All loop messages are sent to whatever email address you choose.
- Send daily digest. Receive a single daily summary email of all loop messages.
- Web access only. No emails. Read all loop messages on the ccLoop web interface.
Here’s an example of selecting the “Send daily digest” setting for the “beta” loop:

Here’s an example of a daily digest email for the “rockingui” loop:

And all messages sent to any loop can always be searched and browsed from the ccLoop web interface, regardless of which email delivery option you select.
You never have to miss a beat. You’re “in the loop,” yet you’re not adding to your email overload.
Pretty cool, huh?
